As you can see I finished my Jitterbug socks. The yarn is wonderful to knit with and extremely warm. It is also a tad thicker than most other sock yarns. The funny thing though is the pooling. I Love weird pooling and these socks are not different. These were knit from the exact SAME skein of yarn. . . wow imagine my surprise when I put them on and low & behold look at them! hahahaha funny eh? I still love them, no matter how different they are. That's the wonderful thing about hand-painted sock yarn, you never know how it will turn out. =)
I also thought I would give you a little bit of sock porn while I was at it. Below is a picture of some of the yarn I've dyed so far. Not all of it's in here. . . .in this picture you can kind of see the following colourways: Half Blood Prince, Trvor the Toad, Rowena Ravenclaw, Ginny, Mediterranean, Narcissa, and Nessy. All of these are available at the etsy store in the sidebar. =) Each one of these hanks is enough to make an adult pair of socks. It's tempting, but I must not keep it!. Honestly my favourites are Half Blood Prince & Ginny.

I really like the Ginny and Half Blood Prince too. I am really liking The Burrow as well;)
Wow-- that pooling on the left one is quite strange. But, unless it's specifically supposed to be stripes (which it isn't i'm guessing), I wouldn't be picky either on how the colors turn out.
Fiber fair tomorrow. I can't wait. Oh, I ordered a ball winder like wednesday night and it arrived today! I was frickin flipping out! I wound up all my sock yarn. They all look amazing now. It really brings out all the colors when they cross like that.
holy flying monkeys. I didn't even see your hagrid and you sold it already. lol. H.P stuff is going like hotcakes. Did you buy out the whole collection of Jacquard(sp?) dyes? You have so many colors now.
Wow! That's a lot of socks you've finished! And I assume you dyed all the yarn yourself...hmm...beyond impressive. By the way, where's did you getthose great sock templates? Do you knit right onto them, or use them to check gauge/block your socks?
